Diving courses

I offer diving education in Finnish Lapland waters. With small class sizes (maximum 4 students) and individual instruction, you'll receive the attention needed to become a confident, safe diver.


Experience breathing underwater for the first time in a safe, controlled environment. Perfect introduction to scuba diving with no certification required.

What you'll experience:

  • Basic diving safety briefing
  • Pool or shallow water training
  • Breathing underwater with scuba equipment

  • Guided underwater exploration

Your gateway to the underwater world. This course teaches you the skills and knowledge needed to dive safely with a buddy to depths of 18 meters.

  • Emergency procedures

Expand your diving skills and explore new underwater activities. Complete 5 adventure dives with different specialties. 

Adventure dives include:

  • Deep dive (to maximum of 30 meters)
  • Underwater navigation
  • Plus 3 specialty dives of your choice

Learn to prevent and manage problems underwater. This course develops your knowledge and skills to help others and handle diving emergencies.

Skills covered:

  • Self-rescue techniques
  • Recognizing and managing stress in others
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers 

Your first step into diving professionally. Develop leadership skills and dive knowledge to guide and assist other divers.

Training includes:

  • Dive theory and physics

  • Supervising diving activities

Refresh your diving skills after a break from diving. Perfect for certified divers who haven't been underwater recently.

Emergency First Response courses teach vital first aid and CPR skills for both diving and everyday emergencies. These internationally recognized certifications provide the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations. 

Available EFR Courses

Primary Care (Emergency First Aid) Learn to respond to life-threatening emergencies with simple, effective action plans. This comprehensive course covers 9 essential skills including scene safety assessment, adult CPR, AED use, severe bleeding control, shock treatment, and choking response.

  • Duration: 5 hours classroom + 2 hours self-stufy

Secondary Care (First Aid) Handle non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Can be taken with Primary Care or separately. Covers injury and illness assessment, bandaging, splinting, and treatment for various conditions from burns to hypothermia.

  • Duration: 4 hours classroom + 1 hour self-study
  • Prerequisites: Current emergency first aid certification

CPR & AED Focus specifically on life-saving resuscitation techniques for all age groups. Learn chest compressions, rescue breathing, AED use, and choking response for adults, children, and infants.

  • Duration: 4 hours classroom + 2 hours self-study

Refresher Course Update and maintain your EFR skills. EFR certifications are valid for 24 months and can be renewed through refresher training rather than repeating full courses.

  • Duration: 5-8 hours depending on course combination
  • Prerequisites: Previous corresponding EFR certification

Care for Children Specialized training for pediatric emergencies covering CPR, AED use, and first aid specifically designed for infants and children. Learn age-appropriate techniques and response protocols.

  • Duration: 4 hours classroom instruction
  • Prerequisites: None required

All courses include hands-on practice, skill assessment, and internationally recognized certification. These skills are essential for Rescue Diver certification and valuable for anyone wanting to respond confidently in emergency situations. 

Emergency First Response Instructor Course

Train to become an EFR Instructor and teach life-saving skills in your community. Learn adult education principles, course presentation techniques, and student assessment methods.

  • Duration: 16 hours
  • Prerequisites: EFR Primary and Secondary Care within 24 months, minimum age 18
  • Authorizes: Teaching all EFR courses including Primary Care, Secondary Care, CPR & AED, and Care for Children
